AxisTV Signage Suite v.1.108

AxisTV Signage Suite v.1.108 delivers a meaningful set of improvements across content management, device operations, room booking, and system monitoring. This release introduces a streamlined content scheduling workflow, batch management for BrightSign players, two-way Mazevo room booking, and new system alerts – all designed to help you manage your signage network with greater speed and confidence.

New Add Content Workflow

Getting content on screen just got faster. A redesigned scheduling workflow lets users add content directly from the Overview page – no need to navigate into a message playlist first.

Simply click Add Content, choose your content type, follow the familiar scheduling prompts, and assign it to a playlist at the end. The process is intuitive enough for new users while staying efficient for experienced ones.

This enhancement allows users to schedule content directly from the home page with fewer clicks and simplifies the scheduling process.

The original playlist-based scheduling workflow remains fully available in AxisTV Manage for users who prefer it. This release adds a faster path – not a replacement – giving your team the flexibility to work the way that suits them best.

BrightSign Batch Reboot & Reprovision

Managing a large BrightSign deployment is now significantly more efficient. A new batch-operation workflow enables administrators to reboot or reprovision multiple players at once directly from within AxisTV Manage without juggling individual player setups in BSN.cloud.

Previously, rebooting or reprovisioning required opening each player individually in BSN.cloud. Now, administrators can select multiple BrightSign players in AxisTV Manage and execute these commands in a single operation.

This feature requires a one-time app registration to get started. A client ID and secret must be input in the BrightSign options section of AxisTV Manage under Administer/Organizations. Once set up, batch reboot and reprovision commands are available natively inside AxisTV Manage.

Mazevo Two-Way Booking

Touch Room Sign now supports walk-up reservations for Mazevo users, enabling true two-way booking. Simply add the booking widget to Touch layouts to enable walk-up reservations.

Guests can reserve a room directly at the sign, and the reservation is written back to Mazevo – keeping your scheduling software and physical signage in sync. No double bookings, no guesswork.

Transcode Alarms

Organizations running HTML5 playlists or BrightSign players now have an early warning system for transcoder issues. System administrators can now catch and resolve problems proactively before audiences ever notice an issue on screen.

AxisTV Transcode processes content to ensure compatibility with HTML5 and BrightSign players. AxisTV Manage now monitors the Transcoder service via a recurring heartbeat signal and raises an alarm when that signal goes quiet, indicating the service may have stopped or stalled.

Other Enhancements:

  • Other usability enhancements and bug fixes
  • Alarms now let you change how long an issue persists before an alarm email is sent.
