Visix, Inc. (hereinafter “Visix”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. We’ve developed this General Privacy Policy to address how Visix and its affiliates collect, use, disclose, transfer and store your information. To ensure that your personal data is secure, we communicate our information security and privacy guidelines to all Visix employees and enforce privacy safeguards within the company.

2. What information do we collect?
For visitors to our publicly available website, we collect information from you when you browse or chat on our site, subscribe to our newsletter and email campaigns, or fill out a form. When filling out forms or chatting on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, e-mail address, mailing address and/or phone number.

All inquiries from outside the company concerning identity, employment record, or performance of a current or terminated employee are referred to the Human Resources department and/or an attorney, who will verify the credentials of the agency representative before releasing information about a current or terminated employee.

Our publicly available website is hosted on a secure server.

5. Do we use cookies?
Yes. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer information to outside parties. This excludes third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

We may also release your information when we believe release is necessary to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our or other’s rights, property, or safety, or share personal information as necessary to other corporate entities as part of a business transition such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

7. Social Plugins
Visix is participating in social networks, and uses social plugins on our website. These social network features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. In some instances, they may also connect directly to the social network servers.

Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it. Please refer to the data privacy policies of individual social networks for more details about how they collect, store and process data.

8. Google Analytics & Google Ads
We use Google Analytics which is a web analyzing tool of Google Inc., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter “Google“) for the purposes of the adequate design and continuous optimization of our website. Google Analytics works with cookies and creates pseudomonysed usage profiles, which enable an analysis of your use of our website. Information stored in such cookies (such as browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL, Hostname of the accessing computer, time of server request) are usually transmitted to and stored on Google’s servers in the USA.

Due to the activation of the IP anonymization (IP masking), Google will truncate and therefore anonymize the IP address of your device within the European Union or the European Economic Area.

We contracted Google to analyze your use of this website in order to produce reports on the activities on our website and provide more services connected to the use of our website and the internet in general. The IP address provided by your browser will not be combined with other Google data. The information may be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

You may prevent Google from recording and processing data on your use of our website (including your device’s IP address) and storing such information in a cookie by downloading and installing a browser deactivation add-on from https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. We use Google ads to advertise our products and services. We may share your name, phone number, email address and location with Google Ads for better audience matching. However, we use hashed data for all personal information (name, email and phone), which maps the original string of characters to data of a fixed length. An algorithm generates the hashed data, which protects the security of the original text.

This site is protected by reCAPTCHA, and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

9. Emails
Emails, including our newsletter, promotional and update notifications, are sent by means of Brevo (formerly SendinBlue). Email addresses, as well as other data described in the context of this information, are stored on the servers of Brevo. Brevo uses this information to send out and evaluate emails on our behalf. In addition, Brevo can use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the dispatch and the presentation of emails for economic purposes in order to determine from which countries the recipients come from. However, Brevo does not use the data of our email recipients to contact them independently or transfer data to third parties.

You may terminate the receipt of our emails at any time, which means revoke your consent. You will find a link to unsubscribe from our email communication at the bottom of each email.

10. Links to Other Websites
Our website includes links to other websites whose privacy practices may differ from those of Visix. If you submit personal information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy policies. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policy of any website you visit.

11. Compliance with Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act
As a business service, Visix does not target its offerings toward, and does not knowingly collect any personal information from users under 13 years of age.

12. California Privacy
If you are a California resident, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits you to request information regarding the disclosure of your personal information by Visix or its subsidiaries to a third party for the third party’s direct marketing purposes.
