Each release represents our dedication to listening to your feedback, refining existing features, and introducing new capabilities that help you work smarter and faster. Below you’ll find highlights from our most recent updates; not a complete release history, but a snapshot of the key milestones that have shaped our platform.

AxisTV Signage Suite v.1.101 (released September 16, 2025)

This release includes a host of new CMS improvements for simplified content importing, scheduling, and template design, as well as enhancements to analytics and BrightSign features.

Simplified Scheduling

  • Simplified scheduling buttons in the message playlist workflow.
  • The Media File and Multiple Image File workflows are now combined into a single workflow named Media Files. The Media Files workflow allows you to schedule one or more media files of any supported type at a single time.
  • Two new reports in the Analytics workflow to export Excel files with information on License Usage and PC Players.
  • The Pick & Fill Template and Pick & Fill Message workflows are now referenced as Quick-Start Template and Quick-Start Message workflows.
  • Quick-Start Template Designer improvements:
    • Enhanced color picker options.
    • Ability to use artwork imported into AxisTV Manage.
    • Ability to duplicate elements.
    • Ability to clip an image into a shape.
  • Quik-Start Message Scheduler enhancements:
    • Use artwork imported into AxisTV Manage.
    • Schedule a message without editing any placeholder text.

BrightSign Enhancements

  • Player snapshots can now be viewed from AxisTV Manage Overview.
  • The Players workflow now supports multi-player selection for moving and deleting multiple BrightSign players at one time.
  • The Players workflow also now supports Tile view.

AxisTV Signage Suite v.1.92 (released April 17, 2025)

This release introduces support for BrightSign players.

BrightSign Support

AxisTV Signage Suite now includes support for BrightSign Series 4 and Series 5 HD, XD, and XT single-output players. A new BrightSign presentation designer and provisioning workflows are included in the AxisTV Manage CMS, letting clients design presentations and publish content to the world’s most popular digital signage players. BrightSign players can be added to existing AxisTV Signage Suite deployments, combined with Visix media players, or used exclusively.

AxisTV Signage Suite v.1.87 (released November 12, 2024)

This release provides more data visualization options, additional templates, faster performance, and more. 

New Microsoft Power BI Widget

The new Power BI widget in AxisTV Design lets clients show dashboards and reports in a zone or fullscreen layout. The widget allows for data display without requiring organizations to unshield their data with a public URL and avoids sluggish cross-system authentication methods. Users can take advantage of granular scheduling tools to control when and where data plays.

  • License counts in AxisTV Manage now show quantities purchased and in use
  • 186 new message templates available in the AxisTV Manage CMS
  • Simplified scheduling workflows for messages and layouts in the CMS

AxisTV Signage Suite v.1.81 (released July 09, 2024)

This release enhances data-mapping capabilities for events from Office 365, Exchange, and EMS Platform. These enhancements provide additional options for users of AxisTV Design and AxisTV Conference for ePaper room signs.

Data Mapping

  • The Outlook 365 widget now returns Organizer Details, which are available for data-mapping.
  • The Outlook 365, Exchange and EMS Platform Widgets can now be configured to show number of attendees and/or categories which are available for data-mapping.

AxisTV Signage Suite v.1.74 (released December 12, 2023)

This release provides easier layout scheduling, automatic player updates, faster load and sync times, more intuitive content scheduling, and other updates for better user experience.

Workflow Improvements

  • Layouts can now be applied directly to a player without using a layout playlist. 
  • Scheduling button labels have been renamed and repositioned to be more intuitive. 
  • We’ve improved and standardized display and behaviors within different hubs.

Increased Speed

  • Dramatically improved speed for page loading and scheduling. 
  • Clients with large deployments can experience up to a 95% reduction in load time!
  • Faster synchronization between AxisTV Design and AxisTV Manage.

Automatic Player Updates

  • Once you install version 1.74, you’ll never have to manually update players again!
  • The new Turnkey Upgrade Service sets up automatic updates for AxisTV Engage and AxisTV Siren players. This service installs alongside AxisTV Signage Suite 1.74, and future versions will automatically update players between 6pm and 6am (local player time), within 24-48 hours after each CMS update.

  • NEW Event Text File widget can now retrieve files from a web URL.
  • NEW EMS Master Calendar widget now supports both legacy and later versions.

AxisTV Signage Suite v.1.65 (released November 15, 2022)

This release adds features for higher education clients and improves Visix Cloud and user experiences.

CBORD Widget

NetMenu is CBORD’s complete web-based, fully hosted food service solution for higher education venues. AxisTV Design’s new CBORD widget lets you pull in data from NetMenu to create stunning, auto-updating menu boards for your screens. The drag-and-drop widget can be paired with data-driven text fields and artwork in fullscreen layouts or single messages within playlists. And our configuration consultants are standing by to help get you started.

Announcements

The new Announcements hub in AxisTV Manage lets administrators publish announcements to AxisTV Design users once they log in and connect to the server. If you have multiple content contributors, this gives you a centralized, in-app messaging system for things like maintenance notices and software update reminders. Announcements can include a title, body text and more info URL, and be delivered in English, French, Spanish and German. AxisTV Design users can dismiss each popup announcement temporarily or permanently, so as not to interrupt workflows.

Other enhancements

  • AxisTV Alert can now poll Everbridge CAP RSS feeds.
  • AxisTV Design users can now “nudge” design elements using keyboard arrow keys.
  • The device registration portal now has easier workflows.
