The following information is provided to AxisTV customers who have either purchased the upgrade or have rights to the upgrade software via SMA. Any other persons downloading and installing the product are in violation of Federal Copyright laws.

Before downloading the software and performing the upgrade, the following items should be reviewed.

a. You must download and read the sections of the AxisTV Combined Manual that pertain to Deployment Planning as well as upgrading the product. Specifically the section on verifying that your hardware meets minimum specifications and project planning. Hardware that does not meet minimum specifications can cause visible performance issues with tickers and transitions. If you are unsure about your hardware, email the AxisTV serial numbers to Visix and we can assist you. Email Visix as salesteam@visix.com for information on our hardware trade-in program.

b. Visix has prepared a sample upgrade implementation plan that should be reviewed by the client and a similar plan should be created by the client to cover all details specific to each individual AxisTV installation. The plan is intended to be a sample of what each customer should do before upgrading. Because each implementation is different, each plan will be different.

c. Note that Visix SMA only covers the cost of the AxisTV 6.6 software, not remote implementation time and associated cost.

d. If you attempt the upgrade yourself and run into issues, a billable call will have to be scheduled with Visix Technical Support department in order to resolve any upgrade issues.

e. AxisTV "Lite" system cannot be upgraded to AxisTV 6.6 without the purchase of additional hardware.

f. If you are unsure about upgrading in any way, do not perform the upgrade. Call the Visix customer service department at (800) 572-4935 or (770) 446-1416 or email us at supportaxis@visix.com and we will answer any of your questions.
