SMA Benefits


 

Our Software Maintenance and Support Agreement (SMA) offers the most economical way to receive the latest versions of Visix software technology. SMA subscribers receive regular downloadable software upgrades at no charge.  Historically, Visix releases one new feature upgrade per quarter. The SMA typically pays for itself in just two quarters.

 

Free upgrades and support
Free upgrades of all product releases are automatically sent to you throughout the length of the Software Maintenance and Support Agreement. This means that you are always running the latest release of our software without the need to renegotiate the cost of the product or request the new release.

You avoid delays and needless paperwork, and can easily budget for the current and future releases of our products. Phone support, instant message and email support are other reasons to purchase the Software Maintenance and Support Agreement.

  • You designate up to four people to maintain contact with our Help Desk through email, instant messenger and by phone.

  • As a maintenance customer, you receive priority support attention.

  • You have access to our toll-free service support line.

 

Free beta software
As a maintenance customer, you may be selected to receive a free copy of our beta software for an insider’s look into the next release. You also get a head start on the newest release of the product.

 

Discounts on consulting, training and implementation services
Visix offers many complimentary and fee-based consulting, training and implementation services to assist with your visual messaging implementation. As a maintenance customer, discounts for fee-based services are offered. For more information about the types of services offered and associated fees, please view the Services page of our Web site.

Automatic renewal
You can renew the Software Maintenance and Support Agreement each year for a fraction of the cost of the individual upgrades.

How to order
You can purchase a Maintenance Agreement at the time you acquire your Visix technologies, or within 30 days of your purchase. If you already have a system, you can request a quote for an SMA.

 

 

When you review the Visix software release schedule you will note that in the last 48 months, Visix has delivered 14 releases or one every 3.4 months (1 per quarter).

If a client purchased each new release in the past year, it would cost them $3,264 for four releases at $816 each (current price list).

A one year SMA, would range from $689 to $1499. In both cases the SMA offers significant savings.
