Visix, Inc.
Visix is a privately held
software development firm located just outside Atlanta,
Georgia in Technology Park/Norcross. The company was
founded as Tech Electronics, Inc. (TEi) in 1980 to provide
solutions for audiovisual integrators seeking answers to
signal distribution problems in unique integrated
environments. The company name was changed in November of
2006 to better represent the product and service offering.
In 1996 the company
began developing software for dynamic visual messaging as a result of
its experience in the media retrieval and asset management craze of the
early 1990’s. AxisTV, the company’s flagship dynamic visual messaging
application, first shipped in late 1996 and has evolved through 15
software upgrades since 2000. Each upgrade has improved the efficiency,
security and functionality of the application.
The company has evolved
into a true communications software provider with the introduction of
the MeetingMinder™ line of room sign products and the MessageBlox™
application that delivers messages to portable devices. These products,
as well as a substantial service and support offering, round out the
company’s suite of dynamic visual communications solutions.
Visix technologies have
been deployed in a variety of vertical markets that include, but are not
limited to, corporations, governments, hospitals, hospitality, houses of
worship, industries, retail and universities.
Visix has partnered with
a wide range of companies to augment its dynamic visual communications
competencies with peripheral enhancements that include display device
control, content adaptors and syndicated news and data feeds. These
companies include Dean Evans and Associates, Simtrol (OTCBB: SMRL) and
United Press International, as a sampling.
Our single pursuit is to
harness the power of the Internet to improve the effectiveness of the
digital media pipeline by enabling a greater number of people to create,
mange and deliver dynamic visual communications from anywhere to
