TEi Releases AxisTV
Version 6.2

ATLANTA – TEi (Tech
Electronics, Inc.) announced the official release of AxisTV v.6.2. The
release is available for immediate download from company’s Web site and
new orders received after November 10, 2006 will ship with v.6.2 loaded
on integrated Content Servers and Channel Players.
Version 6.2 includes a
number of new features, enhancements and bug fixes designed to improve
the user experience. The new features include online license purchasing
and activation, an RSS reader, automated display layout changes, remote
diagnostics and monitoring, customizable scripting engine and more. The
v.6.2 Professional and Enterprise Content Server applications fully
support the recently released MessageBlox™ and MeetingMinder™
applications.
“We continue to incorporate client feedback in our
development schedule while managing the broader software development
objectives,” stated Michael Scott, Vice President, Technology and
Services. “This release delivers an application that is easier to
deploy, manage and support. The remote monitoring tools enable our
client services personnel to alert the client to possible disruptions
before they occur,” furthered Scott.
“We unleashed a new set
of creative tools with our automated display layout feature,” stated
Trey Hicks, Vice President, Sales. “This new feature enables users to
completely change to the look of their displays at a moments notice or
predetermined points in time. Not only is there creative value in the
feature, but layout changes can help minimize image retention problems
common to plasma displays,” furthered Hicks.
