TEi Releases AxisTV Enterprise Edition

ATLANTA – Tech
Electronics, Inc. (TEi) delivers shipments of AxisTV Enterprise Edition
v.1.1 to applicable large-scale deployment markets.
Enterprise v.1.1 is
based on the previously released Professional Edition, but includes a
number of features designed specifically for large digital signage or
visual messaging deployments. The new features include support for
Microsoft’s Active Directory, the ability to create and manage groups of
players, crawl lists and or play lists, data management through delayed
delivery and proxy server awareness.
This application is
designed for deployments where users expect to deliver unique or like
content to hundreds or thousands of digital signage endpoints. Beta
site deployment took place at one of America’s largest entertainment
venues based in Orlando, Florida.
“We believe the addition
of this application better positions us in the market to address large
deployment requirements,” stated Sean M. Matthews, President, TEi.
Matthews furthered, “what we learned in the process will raise the
feature and functionality bars for our Standard and Professional
products. Most users will see these improvements in our June 2006
release, version 6.1.1.”
