When Visix (formerly Tech Electronics, Inc.) began to deliver AxisTV applications in 1999, computer technology, operating systems and network utilization were quite different from today. PCs operate faster and network security is of greater importance. Microsoft Windows NT and 2000 operating systems are becoming obsolete. Increased feature demand in our products has changed the software infrastructure considerably over the years.
Our goal is to provide our clients with the best possible service. To achieve this we must guarantee results in a timely and efficient manner. Obsolete operating systems and hardware no longer perform well enough for today’s sophisticated demands. We are unable to guarantee performance of older programs in today’s computing environment.
Visix maintains an upgrade path for our clients, offering software and hardware upgrades to clients whenever possible. Most software upgrades are available free of charge to clients under a Software Maintenance and Support Agreement. Hardware upgrades are not covered under any Visix program.
