Anadarko Petroleum - Anadarko 2008 Kids Day
Anadarko's annual Kids Day aims to educate children on what their parents do every day, and in general, teach lessons on how oil and natural gas affect our everyday lives.
The AxisTV jpgs were seen on screens in Anadarko's 20 elevators - known as Elevision. Those jpgs were supplement materials to the overall annual Kids Day campaign - where Anadarko hosts more than 220 children to a half-day of activities promoting the study of oil and natural gas. Similar displays were utilized for the overall movie poster, the Kids Day educational movie featuring an Anadarko executive, the Kids Day intranet site, posters during the event, passport handouts for children and a map and agenda given to parents.
The AxisTV content began with a Save the Date teaser and continued with advertisements on the entire event, specific activities and other instructions for that day - for example, taking advantage of a free donut in our Café. The initial content targeted all employees to get employees excited, engaged and signed up to attend Kids Day. The following content was to inform and remind those who registered specific instructions.
Specific goals:
- Engage our employee base in signing up for Kids Day 2008, specifically at least 180 children
- Motivate at least 20 employees to register to volunteer
- Inform those who registered to attend of specific information, namely an agenda and events to attend
The campaign materials submitted include an agenda, AxisTV bulletins, map, photo standup, passport, poster, web page and invitation graphic:
