Application/Software
Trainer
Visix, Inc., a growing
software development firm in the dynamic visual communications and
digital signage industries, seeks a career oriented
Application/Software Trainer for our Norcross office. This is an
excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual who
consistently seeks personal challenges and professional rewards.
We are currently seeking
an Application/Software Trainer to deliver client training via WebEx and
or at the client site. Overall objectives are: 1) to increase customer
satisfaction 2) to promote customer retention and 3) to reduce customer
dependency on Visix Support by imparting a greater amount of application
knowledge to the user(s).
The position is
currently filled by a number of part-time contract trainers.
Contractors will augment this full-time position. Management or
oversight of the contractors is a consideration.
This position involves out of state, overnight travel, up to 30%.
Qualifications:
- College degree required
- Minimum 2 years of software training experience, both in-person and
remote (WebEx)
- Excellent presentation
skills required
- Strong verbal, written and computer skills are required
- Command of XP
Professional, Windows Server 2003, Internet Explorer
- Practical
understanding of Flash, PowerPoint and general graphics applications
- Strong customer service skills are required
- Experience developing and preparing training materials
Salary:
$45,000 - $55,000 USD/year
